Common questions
What grant information does Bloomwell track in one place?
Bloomwell tracks your funder research, saved grant opportunities, application drafts, submission status, deadlines, funder notes, and pipeline stage — all linked together. You can see your full grant operation without switching between Google Drive, Notion, Gmail, and spreadsheets.
Can multiple people at my organization use Bloomwell?
Bloomwell is currently designed for individual grant writers and small development teams. Organization account features that allow multiple users to share a pipeline and funder database are on the roadmap. Currently, the tool works best for solo grant writers or small teams sharing login access.
How does Bloomwell handle grant deadlines?
When you add a grant to your pipeline, you can set a deadline. Bloomwell surfaces upcoming deadlines in your pipeline view so you can see what's due this week, this month, or in the next quarter — without managing a separate calendar or spreadsheet.
Can I import my existing grant tracking spreadsheet into Bloomwell?
Bloomwell does not currently have a bulk import feature for existing spreadsheet data. You can add grants to your pipeline manually by searching the database or adding custom entries. Bulk import is a frequently requested feature and is on the product roadmap.
Is my grant data private and secure?
Yes. Your grant data, funder notes, and application drafts are private to your account. Bloomwell does not share your organizational data with other users or third parties. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
